The green areas below are forest, the gray are built-up areas, and the cream-colored space is open land (fields, meadows, etc.). The Tegeler Fließ flows out of the Mühlenbecker See up in Brandenburg (upper part of the map) and into the Tegeler See in the northwest corner of Berlin (lower left-hand corner).
The Berlin-Brandenburg border shows as a pinkish line (Hermsdorf and Lübars on the Berlin side of it, and Glienicke and Schildow on the Brandenburg side).
